Tocaloma’s Leadership Program is open to teens entering grades 9 through 12. As a CIT, campers are exposed to different elements of leadership including group dynamics, child development and teamwork.
Working with our youngest campers, CILTs are placed with seasoned staff while they participate in aiding supervision, setting up developmentally appropriate activities and, of course, setting a good example by engaging themselves in the camp activities and having fun with their groups.
Meeting regularly with the CILT Director, the group discusses various leadership topics as well as their personal experiences with the group. Many CILTs continue on to be Tocaloma Staff.
The CILT program is by scholarship and offered at no charge for qualifying applicants.
